Sibur opens offices

Sibur International, a trading affiliate of Sibur (Moscow), has registered subsidiaries in Istanbul and Kiev. The new offices will trade in basic polymers. In Turkey, where polypropylene (PP) consumption is high, Sibur will focus on the sale of PP produced by the company’s new Tobolsk, Russia, polymer complex. The focus in Ukraine will be on polyethylene, in addition to PP, supplied from the Tomskneftekhim (Tomsk, Russia) and Tobolsk polymer complexes.
