Sibur Ups Film Stake

Sibur (Moscow) says it has acquired the remaining 50% of the chartered capital of Biaxplen LLC (Moscow), one of Russia’s largest manufacturers of biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film, and that it has become the sole owner of the company. Sibur says it had owned 50% of Biaxplen LLC since late 2009. Biaxplen LLC’s production consists of three plants located in the Nizhny Novgorod, Kursk, and Moscow regions of Russia, Sibur says.
