Sasol to Cut Paraffin Production

Sasol says it has closed a part of its normal paraffin (n-paraffin) production at Augusta, Italy for an indefinite period to streamline operating costs. Sasol says it has shut down 220,000 m.t./year of n-paraffin at Augusta. Sasol says it will continue to partially operate the Augusta plant, and will fully operate its n-paraffin plants at Sarroch, Italy and Lake Charles, LA.
