Sasol sells Europe solvents business, two sites to Ineos

Sasol says it has reached an agreement to sell its solvents manufacturing plants in Germany and the associated European solvents business to Ineos. Sasolâ€™s international solvents business is not affected by the sale, the company says. The transaction is subject to approval by the relevant competition authorities. The sale includes sites at Moers and Herne, Germany. The facility at Herne manufactures ethanol and isopropyl alcohol (IPA), as well as catalysts for the two processes. The Moers site produces IPA and secondary butyl alcohol, which is upgraded on site...
