Report: Dow puts Angus Chemical, AgroFresh on sale

Dow Chemical has started divesting two of its specialty chemicals subsidiaries, Angus Chemical (Buffalo Grove, IL) and AgroFresh (Philadelphia), according to a Reuters report citing â€śpeople familiar with the matter.â€ť Dow declines to comment. The process forms part of Dowâ€™s previously announced plan to divest noncore assets by 2015. Reuters has hired investment bankers, including Morgan Stanley, to sell the two subsidiaries.
