RPM Posts Big Third-Quarter Rise in Income

Sullivan: Benefits from market gains. RPM reported net income of $12.2 million (10 cts/share) for its fiscal third quarter ended February 29, an increase of 21% over the year-ago period, and well ahead of First Call’s (Boston) estimates of 6 cts/share. Sales rose 8%, to $731.8 million.
