Private Investors Purchase Crowley Chemical

Crowley Chemical (New York), a producer of petrochemicals and coal tar chemicals, says it has been acquired by private investment firm LG Group (Philadelphia), for an undisclosed sum. Crowley says it has annual sales of approximately $40 million. It operates two plants, at Kent, OH and Oklahoma City, which have a combined capacity of 300 million lbs/year.
