Pilot Chemical purchase

Pilot Chemical (Cincinnati) says it has acquired personal care firm Mason Chemical (Arlington Heights, IL). Financial terms were not disclosed. Pilot says the acquisition will strengthen its household, industrial, and institutional; personal-care; and oil and gas portfolios with the addition of registered and nonregistered biocidal quats and tertiary amine derivatives.
