OxyChem, Mexichem Eye Texas Cracker

Vinyls maker Mexichem (Tlalnepantla, Mexico) says it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Occidental Chemical (OxyChem) to evaluate the formation of a joint venture for the construction of an ethane-based cracker to produce about 500,000 m.t./year of ethylene.
