Mosaic Expects Strong 2009 Demand

Mosaic says it expects a improved demand for crop nutrients in the fourth-quarter 2008 and fiscal-year 2009 due to “strong demand and the tight supply situation for crop nutrients.” Mosaic expects phosphate sales volumes for fiscal 2009 to be 9 million-9.4 million m.t./year, an increase of 1.1%-5.6% over 2007.
