Molycorp (Greenwood Village, CO) says its has begun operations at its rare earth manufacturing complex at Mountain Pass, CA. The company plans to ramp up to its full-scale, phase-1 run rate of 19,050 m.t./year of rare earth oxide (REO) equivalent by mid-year.
