Mitsubishi, JNC transfer PP compound businesses

Mitsubishi Chemical; its wholly owned Japan Polychem Corp. (JPC; Tokyo) subsidiary; and JNC (Tokyo), a wholly owned subsidiary of Chisso (Tokyo), have decided to transfer the polypropylene (PP) compound businesses held by each company and the Funcster long glass fiberâ€“reinforced thermoplastic resin business held by JNC to Japan Polypropylene Corp. (Tokyo), Mitsubishi says. Japan Polypropylene is a PP joint venture between JPC and JNC Petrochemical (Tokyo), a wholly owned subsidiary of JNC.
