Chemical Week Magazine :: Newsbriefs Lummus awarded ethylene plant contract by OxyChem9:08 AM MDT | October 12, 2012 Lummus Technology, a unit of CB&I, has been awarded contracts by Occidental Chemical (OxyChem) for the technology license, basic engineering, and front-end engineering and design services for a previously announced ethane cracker at Ingleside, TX. The proposed cracker is expected to have capacity of 544,000 m.t./year of ethylene. Lummus’s scope of work includes the basic engineering for the ethylene technology and five SRT cracking furnaces.
