Chemical Week Magazine :: Newsbriefs Lubrizol to invest $400 million to expand chlorinated PVC10:58 AM MDT | March 19, 2013 Lubrizol says it will invest more than $400 million over the next 4 years to expand chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) resin and compounding manufacturing capacity globally. Each phase of the 2-phase expansion will add production capacity of 85,000 m.t./year of CPVC resin and 100,000 m.t./year of CPVC compound, and involve total investment of about $200 million. Phase one will include the construction of a $40-million, 35,000-m.t./year CPVC compounding plant and a warehouse at an undetermined site in India and previously announced projects in Thailand and Deer...
