Louisiana selected for potential $1.2-billion urea site

AM Agrigen Industries (Dover, DE) has selected a site at St. Charles Parish, LA, to develop a potential $1.2-billion plant to manufacture granulated urea, the company says. Agrigen would produce urea for ag business customers in domestic and overseas markets. Feasibility studies on the project are under way, and the company expects to make a final investment decision in the first quarter of 2015.
