Lonza to sell Arch performance urethanes and organics business to Monument Chemical

Ridinger: Performance urethanes not core to Lonza. Lonza has signed a definitive agreement with privately held Monument Chemical (Indianapolis) for the sale of substantially all of the assets of Lonza’s performance urethanes and organics business located at Brandenburg, KY. The business produces specialty polyols, as well as glycols and glycol ethers. The assets became a part of Lonza through the acquisition of Arch Chemicals (Norwalk, CT) in 2011.
