Lonza may sell performance urethanes business

Lonza says it is discussions on a possible sale of its performance urethanes business, acquired as part of its October 2011 purchase of biocides maker Arch Chemicals. Production, R&D, distribution, and a sales center for the urethanes business are located at Brandenburg, KY. The company employs 248 people at Brandenburg, according to the company’s website.
