Lautenberg reintroduces Safe Chemicals Act; ACC expects more industry-friendly bill ‘soon’

Longtime Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA)–reform advocate Senator Frank Lautenberg (D., NJ) last week reintroduced the Safe Chemicals Act, the latest version of a bill aimed at modernizing the assessment and management of chemicals and strengthening EPA’s regulatory oversight.
