Chemical Week Magazine :: Newsbriefs Lanxess Builds Nylon Plastics Plant at Antwerp11:39 AM MDT | June 1, 2012 Lanxess has announced an investment of €75 million ($93 million) to build a nylon engineering plastics plant at the company’s Antwerp complex. The new facility will have a capacity of 90,000 m.t./year, and it is scheduled to begin operations in the first quarter of 2014, the company says. The plant will be integrated with an existing caprolactam facility and will make Antwerp the hub of Lanxess’s global nylon business.
