Italmatch acquires two businesses from Thermphos

Italmatch Chemicals (Genoa, Italy), a producer of phosphorus derivatives and specialty additives for plastics, lubricants, and water management, has acquired the Dequest phosphonates business and the phosphorus chlorides operations of Thermphos International (Vlissingen, Netherlands). The acquired businesses have combined sales of â‚¬80 million/year ($104 million). Dequest water treatment phosphonates are produced at Newport, UK.
