IMCD Buys API Firm

Distributor IMCD Group (Rotterdam) says it has acquired the pharmaceutical ingredients distribution business of Maxwell Pharma (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia), a family-owned company. Financial details were not disclosed. Maxwell, which was established in 2000, is a distributor of active pharmaceutical ingredients and excipients, and the company has businesses in clinical studies and skin care products.
