IFC buys soy fibers firm

International Fiber Corporation (IFC; North Tonawanda, NY) says it has acquired Fibred (Cumberland, MD), a maker of dietary soy fiber for foodstuffs. Fibredâ€™s products go into baked goods, meats, cereals, dairy products, and health foods, among others, IFC says.
