ICL to acquire phosphorus pentasulfide business

Israel Chemicals Ltd. (ICL; Tel Aviv) says that its ICL Performance Products business has agreed to acquire the phosphorus pentasulfide (P2S5) business assets and operations of Thermphos International (Vlissingen, Netherlands), located at Knapsack, Germany. The acquisition expands ICL Performance Products’ leadership worldwide in markets for phosphorus-based specialty chemicals and expands its European footprint, ICL says.
