Honeywell Earnings Slide

Honeywell Specialty Materials posted second-quarter segment profit of $175 million, down 19% compared to the same period last year. Sales were down 3%, to $1.2 billion. Honeywell cites a 9% drop in sales from its UOP business unit, as well as price pressure and softness in the fluorine market.
