Henkel adhesives start

Henkel says it has opened the world’s largest adhesives plant, in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, at Caojing, China. Henkel began constructing the 428,000-m.t./year plant in 2011. The new facility, which Henkel calls the Dragon Plant, has become the company’s central production site for industrial adhesives in China and Asia/Pacific. The plant serves customers in the automotive industry and various consumer goods sectors. Henkel invested more than €50 million ($68 million) to build the plant and will employ about 600 people...
