H.B. Fuller earnings up 11% on higher volumes, pricing

H.B. Fullerâ€™s fiscal third-quarter net income rose 11% year-on-year, to $24.6 million, on higher volumes and prices. Adjusted earnings, excluding costs related to the Forbo acquisition and restructuring, totaled 53 cts/share, up 20% from the year-ago quarter. Earnings matched analystsâ€™ consensus, according to Thomson Reuters (New York). The companyâ€™s fiscal third-quarter ended on 1 September. Sales increased 38% year-on-year, to $500.5 million, mostly due to the impact of the Forbo acquisition. However, volumes and prices also rose, by 3% and 2%...
