Chemical Week Magazine :: Newsbriefs GraalBio Brazil Plant11:39 AM MDT | June 1, 2012 Brazilian biofuels and biochemicals company GraalBio (São Paulo) has licensed Chemtex’s (Wilmington, NC) cellulosic ethanol process technology for a previously announced facility in Brazil. Financial terms were not disclosed. The 22-million gals/year facility at Alagoas is slated to come online by the end of 2013, making it Brazil’s first commercial-scale cellulosic ethanol plant.
