Fuller net income falls, Omnova earnings up

H.B. Fuller on 27 March reported net income down 29.4% year-on-year (YOY), to $24.6 million, or 28 cts/share, on revenues up 1.3%, to $486 million for the fiscal quarter ended 1 March. Higher volume increased revenue growth by 2%, while organic revenue was also up by 2%. Excluding special charges, adjusted net income was flat YOY, at 49 cts/share. Omnova Solutions on 2 April reported its first quarter results, with net income of $1.2 million up compared to a loss of $0.2 million YOY. Earnings per share of 3 cts/share were below analyst consensus of 6 cts/share...
