Fuller reported third-quarter earnings from continuing operations of $28.4 million (46 cts/share), up 23% compared to the same quarter last year. “Price and mix, together with disciplined cost controls, continue to be the key drivers of profitability growth,” says Michele Volpi, president and CEO. Revenues declined 1.1%, to $367.9 million, as a result of decreased volumes, Fuller says. “The momentum we have created in the first three quarters of the year makes us cautiously optimistic for the future, in spite of the weak economy,”...
