Fuller Income Falls

H.B. Fuller reported first-quarter net income of $6.1 million, down 66% from the year-ago period, on sales down 14%, to $278.6 million. Fuller says the declines are due to the “sharp contraction” in global demand. Volumes dropped 15% compared with the year-ago quarter. Fuller says it expects a “slight improvement” in end-market conditions toward the second half of the year, but 2009 revenues are expected to be about 10%-12% lower than 2008...
