Frutarom acquires

Frutarom Industries (Haifa, Israel) says it has acquired flavor company JannDeRee (Johannesburg) for $5.2 million. JannDeRee develops, manufactures, and markets flavors with an emphasis on savory flavors and sweet flavor solutions, and the company recorded sales of about $5 million in 2012. It has an R&D, production, and marketing site at Johannesburg, adjacent to Frutarom’s South African site, and a wide customer base in South Africa and other countries in the sub-Saharan region, such as Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique, Frutarom...
