Flint to Acquire Day International

Privately owned Flint Group (Luxembourg) says it has signed an agreement in principle to acquire Day International (Dayton, OH), a producer of printing blankets, sleeves, image transfer media, and pressroom chemicals. Financial details were not disclosed. Flint says it expects the deal to close within the next two months, subject to necessary regulatory approvals. After closing, Day will operate as a business unit of Flint, and “the combined group will rank among the largest pressroom consumable suppliers in every region it serves,” Flint says...
