Explosion at LSB Plant

LSB Industries (Oklahoma City, OK) says a reactor explosion at its concentrated nitric acid (CNA) plant at El Dorado, AR has significantly damaged the plant and shut production. The plant has the capacity to produce about 425,000 m.t./year of CNA. No injuries were reported, and the company is investigating the cause.
