Evonik dissolves JV

Evonik Industries has dissolved its cyanuric chloride joint venture with a Chinese partner in China and will concentrate its activities at Wesseling, Germany. Customers in Europe, North America, South America, and parts of Asia will be supplied directly from Wesseling. Evonik says that by mutual agreement it dissolved its 65-35 jv with Sanzheng Fine Chemicals. The jv had cyanuric chloride plants at Yingkou and Chongqing that supplied the regional pesticides market.
