EFSA to reevaluate BPA by end of 2014

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA; Parma, Italy) says it is extending the timeline for it to complete is full assessment of bisphenol A (BPA) to the end of 2014. The authority says that this extension will give its scientists sufficient time to assess the large number of comments received during the recent public consultation on BPA.
