ECHA requests testing proposals for two substances

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has requested testing proposals for two substances—2,4,6,8,10-pentamethylcyclopentasiloxane and the reaction mass of the 1,1'-(oxydi-2,1-ethanediyl) and 2-(2-hydroxyethoxy)ethyl esters of alpha-oxo benzeneacetic acid. The hazard end point for which vertebrate testing has been proposed for pentamethylcyclopentasiloxane is reproductive toxicity (two-generation reproductive toxicity) and subchronic toxicity (90-day) via inhalation, ECHA says.
