Dow Picks Freeport, TX For Ethane Cracker

Bigger in Texas: Dow's Freeport site accounts for 20% of its global output. Dow Chemical says it will build a previously announced ethylene plant at its Freeport, TX complex to take advantage of low-cost feedstocks available from increasing supplies of shale gas.
