Dow Corning results up on silicone sales

Dow Corning reports silicone sales improved in most geographies during its fiscal second quarter. The company says transportation and electronics applications also grew significantly. Net income of $109 million was up 25% year-on-year (YOY) on sales of $1.5 billion, up 5% YOY.
