Daelim PDH contract

Daelim Industrial (Seoul) has been awarded a contract to build a propane dehydrogenation (PDH) plant for Hyosung (Seoul), CW has learned. The contract, valued at 272.9 billion South Korean won ($243.2 million), covers design, procurement, and construction on a turnkey basis of the second PDH unit at Hyosung’s Ulsan, South Korea, complex. Completion of the 300,000-m.t./year unit is expected in May 2015. Hyosung uses its own PDH technology and supplies propylene to a polypropylene complex at the Ulsan...
