Chemical Week Magazine :: Newsbriefs China probes imports of polysilicon from the EU6:23 AM MST | November 16, 2012 The Ministry of Commerce, PRC (Mofcom; Beijing) says it has begun an antidumping and antisubsidy investigation into imports by China of solar-grade polysilicon from the European Union. The probe is due to be completed before 1 November 2013 but may be extended for 6 months, and it will focus on the 12 months from 1 July 2011. The case was prompted by a complaint to Mofcom from producers of polysilicon, including LDK Solar (Xinyu, China) and China Silicon Corp. (Luoyang, China), Mofcom says.
