Chemtura, Cat deal

Chemtura (Philadelphia) has entered into a joint development agreement with US-based Caterpillar (Cat) to investigate the use of Chemtura’s Duracast hot-cast urethane prepolymer technology in construction and mining equipment, the partners say. The work will focus on applications that have never employed polyurethanes and that promise significant productivity and efficiency gains.
