Brenntag Posts Higher Earnings and Sales

Brenntag posted a 4% hike in third-quarter 2011 operating Ebitda, to €167 million ($229 million) compared with the corresponding period of 2010 on sales up 10%, to €2.2 billion. Third-quarter earnings per share were €1.30, up 65% compared with the year-earlier period and profit after tax increased 54%, to €67 million. Gross profits increased 4%, to €445 million.
