Bock to Succeed Squinzi as Cefic President

Kurt Bock, chairman and CEO of BASF, is expected to succeed Giorgio Squinzi, CEO of Mapei (Milan), as the next president of Cefic, CW has learned. The two-year appointment is expected to be made official at the Cefic general assembly, to be held on September 28 in London. Bock is already a member of Cefic’s board, which is responsible for guiding the organization’s work and approving its policies, priorities, and programs.
