Benetton joins Detox

Fashion brand Benetton (Ponzano Veneto, Italy) says it has committed to eliminate all releases of hazardous chemicals throughout its supply chain and products by 2020. Benetton’s decision is in response to Greenpeace’s global Detox campaign, Greenpeace says. Benetton plans, as a part of its commitment, to disclose discharge data from 30 of its suppliers by the end of 2013. It has also committed to eliminate all uses of perfluorocarbon by the end of 2015.
