Bayer sells agchem site

Bayer CropScience has agreed to sell its Ankleshwar, India, agricultural chemicals manufacturing site to Deccan Fine Chemicals (Hyderabad, India) for 1.27 billion Indian rupees ($20 million). Bayer CropScience announced plans earlier to divest the site, which it says makes old products. Deccan, active in custom manufacturing of agchem active ingredients and intermediates as well as other fine chemicals, is partly owned by Mitsubishi Corp. and the private agchems company Belchim Management International Holdings (Londerzeel...
