BASF Appoints Two New Board Members

Büchele: Taking oil and gas/Europe. BASF says it has named Harald Schwager, currently site manager of BASF’s Ludwigshafen complex, and Wolfgang Büchele, currently the head of the fine chemical division, to its board. The appointments will take effect on January 1, 2008. Schwager will have responsibility for human resources, and Büchele will be responsible for oil and gas/Europe, effective April 2008.
