Chemical Week Magazine :: Newsbriefs Arkema to Buy Production Site in Brazil8:12 AM MDT | July 20, 2012 Arkema’s Coatex subsidiary is buying an additives and emulsions production site from Resicryl (São Paulo) at Araçariguama, Brazil. The facility makes emulsions used in mineral processing, paint, adhesives, paper, construction, water treatment, and cosmetics. Arkema expects “strong growth” in many of those markets in Latin America, the company says. With the new facility, Arkema’s Coatex subsidiary is expected to generate $20 million/year in sales in Brazil.
