Arkema to Buy Production Site in Brazil

Arkemaâ€™s Coatex subsidiary is buying an additives and emulsions production site from Resicryl (SĂŁo Paulo) at AraĂ§ariguama, Brazil. The facility makes emulsions used in mineral processing, paint, adhesives, paper, construction, water treatment, and cosmetics. Arkema expects â€śstrong growthâ€ť in many of those markets in Latin America, the company says. With the new facility, Arkemaâ€™s Coatex subsidiary is expected to generate $20 million/year in sales in Brazil. The plant will be retrofitted to produce Arkemaâ€™s rheology additives and waterborne emulsions...
