Arkema Plans Job Cuts at French Hydrogen Sulfide Plant

Arkema says it is considering plans to eliminate 48 jobs at its Lacq-Mourenx, France plant where it produces hydrogen sulfide derivatives. The cuts, 18% of the site’s staff, will be made in 2007-08, the company says. Financial results at the plant “are giving cause for concern,” it adds.
