Chemical Week Magazine :: Newsbriefs Arkema Plans Big Restructuring at French Fluorochemicals Site...12:35 PM MDT | July 27, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Arkema says it plans to cut 226 jobs at its Pierre-Bénite, France fluorochemicals production site, 39% of the site’s total, as part of a major restructuring there. The company intends to close units at Pierre-Bénite producing hydrofluoric acid and the company’s Forane 22 hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC) refrigerant, as part of the plan.
