AkzoNobel CEO returns

AkzoNobel says that Ton Büchner, CEO, resumed his duties on 7 December 2012 following a full recovery, having taken leave of absence in mid-September after being diagnosed with fatigue. “It has been a testing time for all of us, but now Ton is back as expected, leading the company forward and returning to business as usual,” says Karel Vuursteen, chairman of AkzoNobel’s supervisory board.
